You hold the keys. You hold the risk. 

You are responsible for keeping your phrase and device secure, for verifying the addresses you send to, and for the consequences of transactions you sign. A transaction on Robinhood Chain cannot be reversed by Dark or by anyone else.

Dark's contracts are new and have not yet completed an external security audit. Deposit and balance limits are set deliberately low while that is true. Cryptographic software can contain errors that result in permanent loss, and no amount of testing eliminates that possibility. By using the beta you accept that risk knowingly.

The team can pause new deposits and transfers and can tighten limits if a problem is found. The team cannot pause withdrawals; that restriction is written into the contract so that you can always leave.

Dark encrypts your USDG balance and the amounts of payments between Dark accounts. It does not hide your address, your deposits and withdrawals, who you transact with, when, or anything about other tokens. It is not a mixer and does not provide anonymity. A disclosure link you create reveals your address to whoever opens it, and a proof they save remains valid after you revoke the link. The full statement is in the privacy policy.

Swaps are executed by a third-party aggregator; market data, explorer data, the assistant and push notifications each rely on a named third party listed in the privacy policy. Dark does not control those services, does not guarantee their availability or accuracy, and is not responsible for their conduct. Tokenised stock features are unavailable in some jurisdictions and require you to state your residence truthfully.

You may not use Dark where doing so is unlawful, to conceal the proceeds of crime, to evade sanctions, or to attack the software or its users. Addresses on applicable sanctions lists are refused by the servers Dark operates; the contracts themselves are permissionless and Dark makes no claim to control them.

The software is provided as is, without warranty of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Dark and its contributors are not liable for any loss arising from your use of it, including loss of funds from user error, software defects, chain behaviour, third-party services, or the actions of the USDG issuer or the chain operator. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid Dark for the software, which is nothing.
