Dark is an Android app, downloaded from this site. There is no app-store listing, so check the file before you install it: it takes a minute and is the only thing standing between you and a copy someone else built.
01 · Get the app
Requires Android 9 or later. This page is the only place Dark is published. We will never send you the app in a message, an email or a direct link from anywhere else, and a file from any other source is not ours, whatever it is called.
02 · Check the file
The file checksum proves the download was not altered. The signing fingerprint proves who built it: only we hold the key that produces it, and Android refuses an update signed with any other.

Run shasum -a 256 dark.apk (macOS or Linux) or certutil -hashfile dark.apk SHA256 (Windows) and compare the result with the file SHA-256 above. With the Android SDK installed, apksigner verify --print-certs dark.apk prints the signing certificate's SHA-256.
If either number differs, delete the file.
Do not install it, and do not enter your recovery phrase into it. Tell us at team@darkwallet.cash.
03 · Install
Open the downloaded file. Android asks you to allow installs from your browser or file manager; allow it, install Dark, then switch the permission back off. Later updates are checked against the same signing key, so a replacement signed by anyone else will not install over it.
04 · iPhone and web
There is no iPhone app and no web wallet at launch. If you find either, it is not Dark.
